Warranty

This Limited Warranty describes our policies and procedures for warranty cases.

  1. ZEEDLIGHT warrants its products against defects in material or workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase (documented through receipt of payment). This warranty does not cover any consumable items (e.g. batteries, light bulbs, lamp shades, etc.).

  2. ZEEDLIGHT’s sole obligation under said warranty is to repair, or at its option, replace the defect part. The buyer shall have no other remedy. All special, incidental, and consequential damages are excluded.

  3. The warranty shall be voided by alterations of the equipment (except by ZEEDLIGHT), tampering with, improper installation or maintenance, accident/force majeure, or misuse. This warranty expressly excludes all damages to these products resulting from careless or neglectful handling and transportation once it has left ZEEDLIGHT's premises.

  4. ZEEDLIGHT shall in no event be responsible for any warranty work done without first obtaining ZEEDLIGHT's written consent.

  5. Uses of the warranty must be reported to ZEEDLIGHT within 30 days from discovering the defect, specifying the following information:

    • Copy of the payment receipt or invoice

    • Detailed description of the problem and quantity of defective products

    • Photographs of the defect and the product label (typically at the underside of the product)

  6. This warranty is made in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranties regarding merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No employee, agent, franchise, dealer, or other person is authorized to give any warranties of any nature on behalf of ZEEDLIGHT. Except as provided herein, ZEEDLIGHT shall have no liability or responsibility to the customer or any other person or entity with respect to any liability, loss, or damage caused or alleged to be caused directly or indirectly by "equipment".

  7. Notwithstanding the above limitations and warranties, ZEEDLIGHT's liability hereunder for damages incurred by the customer or others shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the particular equipment involved.

  8. The customer is responsible for freight/shipment costs and related fees and duties. Freight/shipment costs are to and from ZEEDLIGHT in Toronto, Canada. If required, ZEEDLIGHT will provide a DHL freight account and costs will be invoiced to the customer after completion of the repair/replacement.
